A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Concordia Lutheran School. I have been in the field of education for over 35 years. In 2010, I was blessed to be named the principal of CLS.  When I served in the public school arena, most of my career was spent in North East Independent School District.  While an administrator in NEISD, I felt very fortunate to have opened two new schools: Longs Creek Elementary and Bulverde Creek Elementary. Before becoming a school administrator, I taught various elementary grade levels, middle school, and special education. My degrees and certification include:
Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, and Administrative Certification.

My husband Bill is very supportive of my career in education and is by my side in my ministry at CLS. He enjoys being involved in campus activities. I feel blessed to have his love and support.  He has been known to show up at CLS sporting activities even when I am unable to be there!  Bill and I have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and three precious grandchildren. Time with our family is invaluable; we all love boating and fishing. In addition to spending time with family, I love to read!

As the instructional leader of Concordia Lutheran School, my primary goal is to work with the faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive academic program in a Christian environment.  Biblical truths are taught each day at CLS. My greatest desire for the children of our school is that they grow up to be responsible, hard-working and well-educated young men and women who glorify God in whatever He calls them to do. The Bible clearly offers direct instruction in Proverbs 22:6 when it states, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

It is with enthusiasm that I serve as the principal of Concordia Lutheran School.  I encourage parents to partner with CLS. I believe that CLS will flourish when it is viewed as a ministry of the larger Concordia community.

Blessings,
Sally McBee
